Xiang Do Sandalwood (Limited)
Sandalwood (白檀, byakudan) — one of the oldest and most treasured woods in Japanese incense, expertly distilled into Shoyeido's Xiang Do pressed-incense recipe. Warm, soft and quietly sweet, it was burned in the Heian court a thousand years ago, when moon-viewing first took root in Japan.
From Shoyeido, Kyoto's oldest incense house, established in 1705. A scent made for a long autumn night — light one stick and look up. Pairs beautifully with your Suzu-yaki incense plate.

Ships from Japan, dispatched within 5–7 business days. International delivery by tracked Japan Post typically takes a further 7–14 business days, depending on your destination and any customs processing. Tracking is included.

Duties & taxes
United States: import duties are prepaid — you pay nothing extra on delivery. Canada: no customs duty (Japan–Canada CPTPP); Canada Post may collect GST/HST and a small handling fee (about CA$10) on arrival. United Kingdom, Singapore & Hong Kong: local taxes vary — email us and we'll tell you exactly what to expect before you order. We declare every shipment accurately.
Returns
For hygiene and safety reasons, incense can't be returned once opened — except if it arrives faulty or damaged, in which case email info@the-zen-artisan.com within 7 days with a photo and we'll make it right.
