A Suzu-yaki incense holder — a hand-formed incense plate for a single stick or cone. Suzu Star is the first design in our incense-holder line.
Unglazed black stoneware, born from the iron-rich clay of Japan's Noto Peninsula and drawn out by fire and ash. Each incense holder is one of a kind — slight variations in colour, texture, and form are the mark of genuine handmade work, not flaws. With use, the surface settles into a deeper, quieter lustre.
