Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting handcrafted work. Every piece is carefully inspected, hand-wrapped, and shipped directly from Japan.

Processing time

As each order is carefully inspected and hand-packed, please allow 5–7 business days for your order to be prepared and dispatched. During launch periods or holidays, processing may take slightly longer; we will always keep you informed.

Where we ship

We currently ship to Canada, the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom. If your country is not available at checkout, please contact us at info@the-zen-artisan.com — we will do our best to help.

Shipping rates

• Canada: flat rate of CAD $30
• United States: flat rate of approx. USD $28
• Europe & United Kingdom: flat rate of approx. €24.95
• Orders of CAD $148 or more ship free, worldwide — including our flagship Zen Complete Set.

Rates are charged in your local currency at checkout and may vary slightly with exchange rates.

Delivery times

We ship by Japan Post EMS, a fully tracked and insured express service. Once dispatched, delivery typically takes 7–10 business days, depending on the destination and customs processing. These are estimates and not guaranteed.

Customs, duties, and taxes

For international orders, import duties and taxes may be charged by your country's customs authority upon delivery. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices or shipping fees. If a parcel is refused at customs, the order will be refunded minus the original and return shipping costs and any fees charged to us. Please check with your local customs office if you are unsure.

Tracking and care in transit

All orders are shipped with tracking. Because our pieces are fragile, each item is hand-wrapped and cushioned to travel safely. If anything arrives damaged, please see our Refund Policy — we will always make it right.
